How YOU can participate

The KPC Prayer Project will be taking over the church over Easter, starting immediately after the service on the evening of Friday, April 2. Right through the weekend, day and night, until Easter Sunday morning, the church will be humming with the prayers of God's people.

There are three ways you can join in.

1. Visit the contemplative prayer room -- Stop by anytime. Stay as long as you like.
Come to this quiet, holy place anytime, day or night, and spend time with God. Different, private prayer stations will help you get close to Him. One station might have a dozen scriptures you can read. Another might have headphones for you to mediate while you listen to worship music. Still another might have lead you through prayers for healing in your life.

The contemplative prayer room will be in the youth room just off the main sanctuary.

Click here to sign-up online. You don't have to sign up but it will help us make sure that someone is praying during all 36 hours. Please drop in anytime.

2. Sign up for prayer with KPC prayer ministers
On Saturday, April 3, KPC prayer ministers will be available for prayer. We'll be booking appointments for some deep, significant prayer time. Email us at (andrewdouglas AT rogers.com) to arrange an appointment. The prayer ministry time will take place in quiet, private places around the church.

3. Join other people in corporate prayer (in the boardroom) and worship (in the gym)
The boardroom will be transformed into a place of open, corporate prayer. Unlike the Contemplative Prayer Room, where quiet, personal prayer is the focus, the boardroom will be for prayer time with others.

Come by the stage, in the gym, to jam and sing praises and worship with instruments. Stay tuned for a schedule but things will likely start in the late afternoon on Saturday and run all night.
